How is my match score calculated?
Each opening is compared with your profile on factors such as skills overlap, title alignment, seniority, location, and how closely the job's content resembles your experience. Every match shows its score breakdown. Written explanations do not change the score, and employers cannot pay to rank higher.
Does BespokeJobs track my job applications?
Yes. Mark a job as applied from your shortlist or from job search, or add one you applied to on another site, and it joins your application tracker. Move it through Applied, Screening, Interviewing, Offer, Rejected, or Withdrawn, add notes, and see which open applications have had no status change in 14 days.
Does BespokeJobs score my resume?
Yes. The free resume checker scores any resume on parseability, sections, impact, style, and consistency, with no sign-in, and does not keep your file. The score measures resume practices and does not predict hiring. With an account, each match also scores your profile against that job.
What happens to my resume?
We use it to rank openings against your experience and to generate documents when you ask. We never sell it or send it to employers, and you can delete it with your account at any time. The privacy policy has the details.
Will my tailored resume pass an applicant tracking system?
No tool can promise that. For each role you get a plain .docx built for applicant tracking systems to read, plus a formatted .pdf for the people reviewing it. Review both before you apply.
Do I need an account to try it?
Not for the resume checker, which runs without signing in and does not keep your file. Matching needs an account, because your shortlist is built from the profile you save.
Which file types can I upload?
PDF, DOCX, or plain text.
Can I get new matches by email?
Yes. New accounts get a weekly digest of your top matches. Switch it to daily or turn it off in your account settings, or unsubscribe from any digest email.
